My goodness, can you say "neglected blog?" Since I've found Facebook, all other computer things have faded to the back!

We're settled in (I think) to the school year. The first quarter just ended and both kids are doing really well. 4th and 3rd grade this year. Lauren's 10 and Will's 8. For some reason, I can't state their ages without mentally calculating how many (or few) years we have left with them before they are grown. Makes me sad, and gives me a sense or urgency about whether or not I'm teaching them everything they need to know about life, and if I am soaking up every second of this time well enough. I pray I never take a minute for granted. God is good for reminding me of that often!

I'm in the school library volunteering all day on Tuesdays and I LOVE it! Just something about being around all those books! I could spend, literally, an entire day in a bookstore or library and never get bored. I could just wander from topic to topic.

My next big project is to organize our family video onto DVD, and to sort through the 5+ years of digital pictures that I have on the computer. I love doing it, but it's overwhelming when I look at the amount of files. Plus, I get so sidetracked just looking at pictures and remembering the circumstances around them, that I will sit for hours and not finish a thing! Maybe I'll get some of them posted here, finally!
